ORDERING AND SHIPPING
How long will my jewellery take to ship?
All jewellery is lovingly made to order. Most items will ship within 2-4 weeks or sooner of when order is placed. If there may be a delay we will contact you immediately. Custom orders take 6-8 weeks to ship.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
I do work with wholesale accounts. Please contact me for line sheets and terms.
How do I care for my jewellery?
I recommend gently washing your pieces with unscented, clear dish soap and a soft toothbrush as desired. This is all you should need to brighten up silver and make diamonds sparkle. I strongly advise against polishing cloths and dips as they deposit residue onto the metal. Never use any type of chemical on oxidized silver or a matte surface as it can change the unique finish. Do not wear jewellery where chemicals are present, such as a pool or hot tub.
REPAIRS AND EXCHANGES
Can I return or exchange an item?
More than anything I want you to love your new treasure! If for any reason you are not, please contact me within 14 days of the ship date on all regular collection items, excluding custom orders. After one week, I’ll assume that you love it and we can both breathe a big sigh of contentment.
To return an item, you must send an email to Merina@MerSeaStudio.ca with RETURN in the subject line. Please briefly explain the situation in the body of the email.
You will be issued a return number. Items must be received back to me within the 14 day window, so please plan accordingly. Customer is responsible for safe return shipping. MerSea Studio is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
What if my jewelry needs repair?
I will repair jewellery within 6 months of purchase as long as it is deemed normal wear and tear by our team. After 6 months, a charge will apply for repair. Please contact me with your inquiry and I will tell you how to proceed.
What if I’d like to design a piece from scratch?
Please contact me for custom orders.
Custom work seems like a little too much for me, but I want a really special piece. What are my options?
Most of my jewelry is easily customizable. This means that you can request a different metal (I work with silver, 14k and 18k, yellow & rose gold) a different stone, earring type or chain length generally at no additional or small additional charge. This is not considered custom work, merely altering an existing design. Send me a quick email if you’re interested in this option–I’ll get back to you.
What if I want to order an existing piece in gold?
Any piece in the production line can be requested in gold by the customer. Please check with artist for current pricing in gold, as it fluctuates often. When customer wants a piece in gold, they must ‘order’ the piece by putting a deposit of at least ½ of retail price. The piece will be made and delivered within 2 weeks of receiving the deposit. Orders in gold cannot be returned or exchanged.
